Appeared in 27 games, making 10 starts late in the season...hit .316 with eight RBI...started the season as a defensive replacement in the outfield before earning starts due to timely hitting...hit .367 against conference pitching, including a triple and six RBI...made several outstanding diving catches during conference play.

A 2007 graduate of Oak Ridge HS in El  Dorado Hills, Calif...led the Trojans to a league title in 2007, as the team posted an 18-9 record, including a 12-3 mark in the Sierra Valley League...was a first team all-league selection after leading the team in batting with a .371 average...collected a team-high 33 hits while posting a .423 on-base percentage...went 3-for-3 with two walks and a run scored in the Trojans’ 3-0 victory over Christian Brothers that clinched the SVL title...batted .304 with nine RBI during his junior campaign...teamed with fellow Hornet Brent Hottman...was also a standout on the football field...had 409 all-purpose yards as a wide reciever and return man his senior season...was part of a team in 2005 that won the Division II Sac-Joaquin Section title.
