HIGH SCHOOL
A 2006 graduate of Las Lomas HS in Walnut Creek, Calif...was a first team all-Diablo Foothill Athletic League selection during his senior campaign...posted an 8-4 record with a 0.87 ERA in 2006...threw five complete games and posted one shutout...allowed just six extra-base hits during the year...also led the team in RBI with 23, collecting two homers and two triples...led team to an 18-9 record during his junior campaign, posting a 3-2 record with one complete game...also blasted two home runs at the plate...was a standout running back on the gridiron, leading team to North Coast Section championships his senior season...rushed for over 1,000 yards, including 290 yards in one game in 2005....was an honorable mention all-DFAL selection.
