Played one season at UNC Greensboro...made one appearance for the Spartans...prior to that, he played two years at Sacramento City Junior College for head coach Andy McKay...team went 29-22 in 2006 with a 15-9 Big 7 Conference record...compiled a 4-2 record in 10 starts with a 3.09 ERA...struck out 52 in 67 innings of work...pitched a complete-game victory over Long Beach City in the California State Championship game...the Panthers finished runner-up after falling in the second game to Long Beach...had a 2-1 record in conference play with a 2.51 ERA...struck out 26 in 28.2 innings...during his fresh-
man season, he led the 2005 team to a 26-15 record and a regional title...worked five games in
relief with no record...was drafted in 2005 by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 46th round.  

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2003 graduate of John F. Kennedy HS in Sacramento... two-time all-Metro League selection and a member of the Optimist all-star team...posted a 0.99 ERA his senior season, throwing two no-hitters and four shutouts during the season for coach Greg Koch...named Sacramento Bee Athlete of the Week once during senior season.
