Played one season apiece at College of San Mateo and Cañada College...in 2007, at Cañada, earned first team all-Coast Conference North Division honors after collecting a 7-4 record...posted a 2.66 ERA in 94.2 innings...threw three complete games and struck out 48 batters...threw 7.2 innings of no-hit ball against his former College of San Mateo team...at San Mateo, in 2006, he posted no record in 8.2 innings pitched.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2005 graduate of Burlingame HS in Burlingame, Calif...led the Panthers to back-to-back Peninsula Athletic League Bay Division titles in 2004 and 2005...posted a 7-2 record his senior year, with a 3.01 ERA...threw three complete games while striking out 58 batters...earned first team all-county and second team all-league honors...in 2004, he led Burlingame to the CIF Central Coast Section Division II title, as the team posted a 27-3 record...was named PAL Bay Division Pitcher of the Year after posting a perfect 10-0 mark...had a 1.89 ERA in 80 innings pitched, walking just 17 batters...threw three straight shutouts during the season.
