PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Spent the fall of 2007 at Oklahoma State before transferring to Sacramento State in December...played two seasons at Chabot JC in Hayward, Calif...in 2006, he posted a 1-0 record in nine appearances, which included three starts...tallied a 2.88 ERA in 25 innings pitched...earned first team all-Coast Conference South Division honors...collected an 8-2 record in 13 appearances, which were all starts...had a 2.69 ERA in 80.1 innings...struck out 87 batters while walking just 30...led team to 31-13 record.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2004 graduate of San Ramon Valley HS in Danville, Calif...led the Wolves to the North Coast Section title with a three hitter against De La Salle in the title game...posted a perfect 6-0 record his senior year...had a 1.70 ERA with 64 strikeouts in league play...earned first team all-CIF Division IV honors, as well as all-East Bay Athletic League honors...in 2001, his summer team won the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) National Championship in Jupiter, Fla...pitched three complete games in five days, the last of which was the title game.

Born July 12, 1986...parents are Alfred Buchta and Lisa Robinson...has four other brothers playing baseball; Zach is a sophomore at Cuesta JC, Ben is a senior at San Ramon Valley HS, Garret is a sophomore at SRV and Mack is a freshman at SRV...major is communication studies...would like to pursue a career in real estate after baseball.
