HIGH SCHOOL
A 2007 graduate of Claremont HS in Claremont, Calif...earned second team all-Baseline League honors during his senior season after posting a record of 6-4...struck out 43 batters in 44 innings pitched...threw a  two-hit shutout against rival Upland HS during his senior year...led his team in 2006 to the section semifinals...was 7-2 with a 2.62 ERA in 40 innings...did not allow a triple or home run during the season...walked just 15 batters while striking out 26...received the team’s academic award as well as the Pitcher of the Year award following his senior season.
