PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Played two seasons for Burt Villareal at Golden West Junior College...earned all-Orange Empire honors in 2006 after posting perfect a 5-0 record with a 3.80 ERA...struck out 24 batters in 42.2 innings pitched...pitched a complete game two-hitter against Riverside Community College.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2005 graduate of Ocean View HS in Huntington Beach, Calif...led team to the CIF Southern Section Division III title in 2005, while being named Section MVP...hit .387 with four home  runs and 25 RBI...posted an ERA of 1.00 in 84 innings pitched with 88 strikeouts...threw seven complete games...also was named MVP of the Golden West League in both 2004 and 2005, while being named second team all-league in 2003 as a sophomore...was also a standout soccer player, earning all-GWL honors as a goalkeeper.

Born Sept. 9, 1987...parents are Randy and Pam Roth...youngest of five boys...majoring in communication studies...would like to become a high school coach after college.
