AS A JUNIOR (2007)
Appeared in 48 games, making 27 starts in his first season at Sacramento State...batted .292 with two home runs and 23 RBI...third on the team with 10 doubles...third on the team with two triples...hit first career home run, a three run shot, at Louisiana Tech on March 2...connected on a solo homer at Northern Colorado on May 11...also hit a two-run triple against the Bears, giving him seven total bases and three RBI on the day...totalled six stolen bases in seven attempts with a career high two steals against UC Davis on March 9.
PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Played two seasons for head coach Jody Allen at College of the Sequoias in Visalia, Calif...a right fielder who was named all-Northern California and first-team all-Central Valley Conference in 2006...led the Giants to a 30-15 record and 20-8 finish in league...batting a team-best .371 with 62 hits, 47 RBI, 44 runs, 14 doubles and 32 walks...led the team with a .476 on-base percentage and was second with a .503 slugging percentage...was second team all-CVC in 2005 after batting .298.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2004 graduate of Golden West HS in Visalia, Calif...for four seasons played outfield for head coach Tom Buckley...named to the all-area team and first team West Yosemite League as a senior after batting .398 overall and .487 in league, while leading the team to an undefeated 12-0 record and the WYL championship...won the Mr. Clutch award for seven game-winning hits in 12 league games....was second team all-conference his junior year...in a 7-4 win over Central Fresno, went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two doubles...graduated with a 3.5 gpa and received the Academic Athlete award.
