AS A FRESHMAN (2007) Became a constant on the hill for the Hornets in his first season...made 17 appearances including 14 starts...led the team in innings pitched with 84.0...uncorked just one wild pitch over those innings...despite being at a disadvantage as a right hander, led the team in pickoffs with four...threw seven strong innings of six-hit ball to pick up first career win at New Mexico State on March 17 in the longest outing of his career...also pitched well at home against New Mexico State on May 4, giving up just two runs over 6.2 innings before picking up a no-decision.

A 2005 graduate of Arrowhead Christian Academy in Redlands, Calif...he was a pitcher for four seasons under head coach Dan Mahaffie...his sophomore, junior and senior seasons he was named first team all-Christian League...during his junior and senior years, he was named first team all-CIF...had a 0.86 ERA his senior season and was named Christian League MVP...played for the ABD Bulldogs for head coach Mike Spiers from 1996-2005.
