BASEBALL ANNOUNCES TWO GOLF TOURNAMENTS AND AN ALUMNI WEEKEND IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento State head baseball coach John Smith, who is beginning his 32nd year at the helm of the Hornets, has announced the date of the program's annual golf fundraiser, as well as an alumni weekend which will feature another golf tournament and alumni game.
The 18th annual Baseball Golf Classic will take place on Friday, October 16 at Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Lincoln, Calif. The tournament will feature a four-person shamble format, and various contests including closest to the pin and long drive. The entry fee is 195 dollars, and includes golf, cart, tee prizes and dinner in the golf course's ballroom.
The Alumni Weekend will take place on Friday and Saturday, October 2-3, with a golf tournament Friday morning at Empire Ranch Golf Club in Folsom and a baseball game on Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. The cost is 125 dollars, which includes golf, cart, lunch, a night reception and shirt. The deadline for registration is September 15.
