The Sacramento State baseball team’s final home contest against San Francisco on Sunday, May 18, at 1 p.m. will be Fan Appreciation Day. The game will mark the final home athletic contest at Sacramento State for the 2002-03 academic and athletic year. In honor of Fan Appreciation Day, the Hornets will be giving away t-shirts, bobbleheads, water bottles, gift certificates to area restaurants and other free gifts. Some of the giveaways will be tied in with in-game contests while the remaining items are to be given out simply for attending the game. Everyone in attendance is guaranteed at least one free gift from the Hornet athletic department.
