ONLY TWO BASEBALL SUMMER CAMPS REMAIN

Sacramento State baseball camps are held at the Hornets' John Smith Field.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - There are only a few spots left for the two remaining Sacramento State baseball summer camps at John Smith Field. The Hornets are hosting 12-15 year-olds for an All-Skills Camp from July 27-29 while a prospect showcase camp for high school players is scheduled from Aug. 4-5.
Student-athletes wishing to attend either camp should register online HERE. Sacramento State baseball camps are held at John Smith Field, located on the western edge of the Sacramento State campus.
Campers should bring a glove, bat, hat, pants and spikes plus running shoes or turf shoes. Catchers must bring their own gear but batting helmets will be provided. Every camper in attendance will also be given a t-shirt to be worn during camp.
ALL-SKILLS CAMP • July 27-29 • Ages 12-15 • Registration
This camp is targeted for baseball players ages 12-15 years old. The focus of this camp is to teach the advanced fundamentals needed to be a succesful baseball player. Each camper will be taught the advanced mechanics and strategy involved in hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching and baserunning. The camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day and the cost is $199.
PROSPECT CAMP • Aug. 4-5 • Ages 14-18 • Registration
The Sacramento State Summer Prospect Camp is designed to provide high school baseball players with the opportunity to be instructed by and play in front of the Sacramento State coaching staff. Coaches will observe campers during instruction, evaluation and game play portions of the camp. Players will have to opportunity expand their baseball skills and benefit from a unique, competitive and challenging atmosphere. Numbers are limited to just 60 campers. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each of the two days and costs $250 for a position player, $200 for a pitcher and $295 for a two-way player.
