Sacramento State’s Kevin Thomson was named the STATS FCS National Player of the Week and the Big Sky Conference co-Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced today. The honors are the first for Thomson in his career.

The Sacramento State women’s golf team opened its 2017-18 season by having all five players rank among the top 20 during the opening two rounds of the WSU Cougar Cup on Monday at Palouse Ridge Golf Course. The opening round was played in rain in temperatures in the mid-50s. The rain dissipated in the second round while the course remained soggy.
