After 97 minutes of scoreless soccer Grand Canyon senior midfielder Kyle Summerhill put home a rebound of a shot stopped by Hornet goalkeeper Philip Bru to give the visiting Antelopes a 1-0 win on Friday afternoon at Hornet Field.

Sophomore Robert Parden shot 3-over par 73 to pace the Sacramento State men's golf team during the final round of the Ram Masters Invitational on Tuesday at the Ft. Collins Country Club. The Hornets finished 10th among the 15 teams.

KRISTO LEADS MEN'S GOLF ON OPENING DAY OF SEASON
Senior Luke Kristo shot consecutive rounds of 72 to lead the Sacramento State men’s golf team during the first day of the Ram Masters Invitational presented by Pedersen Toyota on Monday. Kristo is tied for 14th place while the team is seventh heading into the final round on Tuesday.

Sacramento State kicker Brad Cornish was named the national and Big Sky ROOT Sports Special Teams Player of the Week, it was announced today. The honor is the first for Cornish during his career.
