WOMEN’S TENNIS FALLS TO IDAHO IN BIG SKY TOURNAMENT SEMIFINAL
Idaho claimed the doubles point, won two singles matches in straight sets, and clinched a win with a three-set victory at No. 2 to defeat Sacramento State, 4-2, in the semifinals of the Big Sky Tournament Saturday in Gold River.

New Mexico State used a six-run third inning to open up a big early lead and went on to complete a 14-4 win in eight innings in the opener of a three-game series against Sacramento State on Friday night in Las Cruces.

MEN'S GOLF SITS IN FIRST FOLLOWING FIRST ROUND OF BIG SKY CHAMPIONSHIP
The Sacramento State men's golf team recorded four scores of 71 or better to build a seven-stroke lead following the first day of the Big Sky Championships on Friday at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The Hornets shot 275 and lead Idaho by seven strokes and Northern Colorado by 10.

A total of 36 student-athletes from the sports of men’s and women’s basketball and men’s and women’s indoor track and field earned Big Sky all-Academic honors for the winter season, the conference announced Friday.

BASEBALL RALLIES FOR 5-4 WIN OVER FRESNO STATE IN 11 INNINGS
Trailing 4-2 with two out in the ninth inning freshman Matt Smith delivered a 2-run single to tie the score, and with two out in the bottom of the 11th junior Gunner Pollman delivered an RBI single to give Sacramento State a 5-4 win over Fresno State on Wednesday night at Raley Field.
