PARKING FEE TO BE IMPLEMENTED FOR 2015 FOOTBALL SEASON
Fans will pay a parking fee at all Sacramento State home football games. Current students, faculty, and staff with a valid campus parking pass will not be charged along with all Hornet Club members at the $500 level and above.

Sacramento State senior pitcher Brennan Leitao, senior shortstop Scotty Burcham, and junior pitcher Sutter McLoughlin were all selected on Wednesday during the final day of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft.

The Sacramento State men’s and women’s track & field teams concluded their 2015 season during the final day of the NCAA West Preliminary at the University of Texas on Saturday.

LYONS, WALDEN MOVE ON IN THE 110-HURDLES AT NCAA WEST PRELIMINARY
Juniors Paul Lyons and Aric Walden each advanced to the quarterfinals of the men’s 110-hurdles during the second day of the NCAA West Preliminary on Friday. Lyons earned an automatic berth after finishing second in the fourth heat with a time of 13.74. Walden earned an at-large spot with a time of 13.95.

POWELL ADVANCES TO 100 SEMIS AT NCAA WEST PRELIMINARY
Caprice Powell advanced to the semifinals in the women’s 100 to lead Sacramento State during the first day of the NCAA West Preliminary Track & Field meet at the University of Texas. The day was filled with gusty winds and endured a couple of weather delays due to lightning.

TRACK & FIELD BEGINS NCAA POSTSEASON ON THURSDAY
Twelve members of the Sacramento State track & field teams will compete in 16 events and the Hornets will also be represented with a relay team at the NCAA West Preliminary. The meet, which will take place in Austin, Texas, will run from May 28-30.

BRENNAN LEITAO NAMED FINALIST FOR TD AMERITRADE FAN’S CHOICE AWARD
Sacramento State senior pitcher Brennan Leitao has been selected as a finalist for the TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby Fan’s Choice Award, TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation and Intersport announced today. The annual award, now in its fourth year, recognizes college baseball players for their inspiring accomplishments on and off the baseball field.
