Jeff Law joined the Sacramento State staff in June of 2014. With the Hornets, he works primarily with the football team as well as directing men’s and women’s soccer, and men’s golf.
Law came to Sacramento State from the University of Mississippi where he interned with the football strength and conditioning staff in 2013. Prior to that, he served as an intern with the Olympic strength and conditioning department at Texas Tech while also earning his master's degree in strength and conditioning.
In addition, Law taught undergraduate classes at Texas Tech in diet and exercise and also wrote health and fitness related textbook chapters for McGraw Hill Publishing. A native of Iowa, Law earned his bachelor's from Northern Iowa where he assisted the Panthers' strength and conditioning staff. While at UNI, he trained in Olympic weightlifting under former Chinese Olympian Jianping Ma and traveled to Beijing to train with the Chinese National Team.
Law is accredited through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association and the National Strength and Conditioning Assocation, as well as certified in USA Weightlifting and NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist.
