HORNET FEST OUTDOOR MUSIC FESTIVAL COMING TO CAMPUS APRIL 27

SACRAMENTO -- For the first time in recent memory, an outdoor music festival is coming to the Sacramento State campus on Saturday, April 27.

Hornet Fest will be a campus wide, community event designed to engage the Sacramento community with the Sacramento State campus. The family friendly, open-air music festival will take place from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 at the Hornet Practice Field on College Town Drive located between the WELL and the baseball stadium. Parking will be available in Parking Structure 1 and Lot 10, and the entrance gate will be located on College Town Drive near the baseball stadium. Click here for a campus map.

Four bands - Pablo Cruise, Fox Wilde, Love and Theft, and Kimberley Dahme - will play during the festival. The event also features food trucks, a beer and wine garden, concessions and numerous outdoor games.

Tickets to the event are $40 general admission, $10 for kids ages 12 and under, and Sacramento State students with a valid One Card will be admitted free. Click here to purchase tickets.

A Hornet Fest ticket will also include free entrance to the Sacramento State baseball game that evening at 6 p.m. vs. New Mexico State.

The mustic festival is one of numerous events on campus as Sac State Weekend will be celebrated April 25-27.
