Tom DiStasio begins his first year at Sacramento State after working as a graduate assistant at Southern Illinois (2010-11) and a student intern at Cornell (2009-10). He graduated from Cornell in 2010, where he played football for the Big Red (2006-09). DiStasio participates in Olympic Style weight lifting, and is the son of Marty and Ernestine, with one brother, Marcello. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in exercise science.
