My name is Tod Bannister and I am the new Associate Athletic Director for External Operations at Sacramento State. I am working with campus leadership and Director of Athletics Dr. Terry Wanless, to help elevate the program to a new level of excellence. A robust athletic department can truly act as a window for any institution and a vibrant program helps bolster the image and reputation of an entire university.

Having previously worked at other institutions I have developed a unique perspective on the power that donors have on an academic institution. The landscape of Intercollegiate Athletics is evolving and philanthropy is becoming increasingly important to a university’s ability to build a successful and sustainable athletics enterprise. Whether you give to the Hornet Club or one of our individual sport programs, you are making a significant difference in the lives of our student-athletes and for that, we are eternally grateful. All monies raised go directly to help fund scholarships, recruiting, academic services and program needs which directly impact the lives of the men and women who compete for Sacramento State.
